Resupplying on a budget

Todays blog is about getting supplies spending next to no money. I had someone reach out to me with questions because we live in the same area. I figured if he has these questions others might too. I am going to make this blog about getting supplies on a budget. Cooking ideas and like where to get grey water etc. Where can I charge devices?   Where to charge devices is a good and common question. The only devices I travel with are my phone and my laptop. I am going to break this down into a couple part answer. I have seen people go to the library and charge phones and laptops. You can also charge those devices at like Starbucks and a lot of other fast-food places.  Right but where can I charge power banks? Right now I work at Burger King, I have seen people come in the restaurant buy food and have them in a backpack. Then they just put them under there table with a cord running out of the backpack to the outlet. Its basically like stealth camping. I would also say get a s...

Las Vegas VanLife Edition.

V an Life is the housing option sweeping the nation right now. With the cost of living and rent goes up every year while wages stay the same. Some people take to the lifestyle from necessity others like me are by choice. Some people are part time others are full time living in a vehicle. What other option is there? Shelters are overfilled and understaffed not to mention underfunded.     I have been homeless at the start of the pandemic. No car just had to figure it out. I figured out quickly that the best way to survive was to stay from others. Mental illness and chemical dependency make it hard to call an option. Plus, with having to be in line for a bed by 4pm and out again at 6 am its almost impossible to get a job. Stealth camping and Van life are a better option already due to the fact you can get to work and you have shelter. Yes, it cost more but its still a cheaper option than $2,100 a month in rent.      T he  problem is not ma...

They say " only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go ." I am inclined to believe this to be true. My recent travels have me ready to change up some things in my life. I find I have been playing things safe for the last 10 years.  I had to quit my job recently. In the beginning it was a good gig. I was making like 650 a week without really trying. But then the rules changed and I had new parts of my contract. I wasnt able to fulfill my agreement. I had to cancel my contract because I was working my ass off and around the clock to have $250 a week. I did the responsible thing which was I told my boss I need time to regroup. She said when I am ready to try again I can be rehired. It was nice because I could work from anywhere. The downside is there was so much restrictions on the way the way they wanted it done it didnt feel authentic anymore. I had to memorize 6 characters. Had to keep people on the phone for 20 minutes or I get a redirect. ...

Hello everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I am glad to share to share to my journey. This picture is pretty huh? This picture is Santa Monica, California. This day was a turning point for me. Let me give you a little about me. My name is Ember. I have Dissociative Identity Disorder or "DID". I refer to myself as we or us a lot. DID stems from lots of trauma. I have 8 alters that I know of so far. Alters are personalities. Basically, I have 8 people in one body. All have names, gender identities, there own likes dislikes just anyone else. People with DID are referred to as a system. We chose the system name Deja Vu because DID has amnesia and memory gaps so sometimes we get deja vu when we see people. As each of us in the system choose to blog you will see we have different roles and perspectives. We are 37 years old and most of us identify with She/ her pronouns. I am transitioning to female.     As I stated by the picture that day changed...
